Westminster Council have clearly seen the light: and its ideas-bank shaped. They've set up a simple website to ask anyone Westminster-related to submit ideas that could help improve the "quality of life in the city". Their competition calls for:
"Practical cost-effective ideas that will improve public order, increase social opportunity, assist enterprise or renewal"
Which doesn't exactly quicken the pulse, but it must be worth a shot. £1000 up for grabs; deadline February 22nd. And it has the added bonus that the council might actually act on it, which can't be bad.
